Waffles is a Foxhound estimated to be 7/8 years old. He’s in great health and is a happy boy. He is enthusiastic about everything and friendly towards the people he meets. Waffles enjoys the company of other dogs and is very social- except when he’s resting. He will tell nearby dogs to back off if they approach his napping area... not always in a polite way. He is very curious and is drawn irresistibly to anything that may resemble a food item. This can get him in trouble when it’s on a hot stove, or in someone’s hands. He is learning what “off” means and is doing better around the human dinner table now. He is very smart and eager to please but that hound nose is tough to resist! His leaping and bouncing ability is amazing to see. With patience, Waffles will be a wonderful, loyal companion for someone. He has already won the heart of his foster mom by staring into her eyes and putting his head in her lap. If you give this sweetheart a chance, he will make you fall in love too!
